Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Analyst

We're seeking a detail-oriented AML Analyst to join our financial crimes compliance team. In this role, you'll help protect the organization by identifying suspicious activity, conducting investigations, and ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with experience in AML, fraud, financial services, banking, or compliance who enjoy investigative work and critical thinking.

Responsibilities:

• Review and investigate alerts generated through transaction monitoring systems
• Analyze customer activity to identify suspicious or unusual transactions
• Conduct Know Your Customer (KYC) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) reviews
• Prepare Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and supporting documentation when appropriate
• Research customer profiles using internal systems and external databases
• Ensure investigations are completed accurately and within required service-level agreements
• Maintain compliance with BSA, AML, OFAC, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with compliance, fraud, risk, and business partners on complex investigations

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 1+ years of AML, fraud, financial crimes, banking, risk, compliance, or investigative experience
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to manage multiple investigations in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Preferred:

• CAMS certification or willingness to obtain
• Experience with transaction monitoring systems
• Knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), AML regulations, OFAC, KYC, and CDD
• Previous experience in banking, fintech, or financial services
