| Physical Requirements | This position requires intermittently sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time; and performing tasks with repetitive motions (such as typing); and occasionally standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds; and lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Also involves some exposure to risk of injury from using job-related equipment; and exposure to hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste, cuts/punctures, and bloodborne or airborne pathogens. |

| Job Summary | The Director for Pharmacy Operations will report directly to the Senior Director of Retail and Community Pharmacy Services and be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership of pharmacy services as it relates to current and new growth opportunities. This position will serve as a team leader for outreach related activities within the retail and community pharmacy division of Pharmacy Services. The role is responsible for leading a diverse group of pharmacy teams, driving operational excellence, supporting program development and growth, and advancing initiatives that expand patient access and enhance the quality of pharmacy services across the enterprise. The position will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation, improve performance, and support the continued growth of retail and community pharmacy services. This role will work closely with the retail and community pharmacy leadership team to provide pharmacy services to the patients of UKHC. |

| Preferred Education/Experience | Pharm D with PGY2 in Health System Pharmacy Administration preferred. Master’s degree in business and/or healthcare administration also preferred. |
