Job Summary
Support Financial Operations That Keep Academic Departments Running Smoothly

The University of Kentucky is seeking a College Financial Analyst to join the College of Arts & Sciences Business Center.

This role provides financial and procurement support to assigned departments, helping ensure transactions are processed accurately, accounts are reconciled timely, and college resources are managed in accordance with university policies and best practices. The successful candidate will work closely with faculty, staff, vendors, and campus partners to support the college’s day-to-day financial operations.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage procurement activities for assigned departments, including purchase requests and vendor transactions
  • Process payments, reimbursements, and financial documents through the college’s internal ticketing system
  • Reconcile accounts monthly and resolve discrepancies in accordance with established procedures
  • Prepare and submit Concur expense reports with appropriate documentation and funding allocations
  • Provide guidance on purchasing, payment, and financial processes
  • Monitor transactions to ensure compliance with university policies and procedures
  • Deliver responsive customer service to faculty, staff, and external vendors
  • Support ongoing process improvements and operational efficiency efforts

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
The ideal candidate must have exceptional customer service, organizational and planning, attention to detail, and communication (both written and verbal) skills. We are seeking a collaborative individual with initiative, strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. In addition, experience with Microsoft Office, SAP, and knowledge of business regulations.
