Senior Logistics Analyst: ACV-30 Lethality

In support of the Program Manager Advanced Amphibious Assault (PM AAA), we are seeking an experienced logistics professional to join our team in a surge capacity supporting the Amphibious Combat Vehicle 30mm (ACV‑30) lethality and sustainment portfolio.
The Senior Logistics Analyst: ACV‑30 Lethality provides advanced logistics, sustainment, and Integrated Product Support (IPS) expertise across all twelve IPS elements. This role directly supports PM AAA’s Lethality Integrated Product Team (IPT) and requires on‑site presence at both the V2X facility in Ladysmith, VA and the PM AAA Program Office in Stafford, VA. This is a high‑visibility, mission‑critical billet supporting ACV‑30 modification actions, sustainment planning, provisioning, technical documentation, and engineering change processes.
Responsibilities:
General requirements are as follows:
- Life Cycle Sustainment & IPS Execution
- Support all twelve Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements.
- Maintain configuration control of Program and Product Support documentation.
- Monitor cost and performance across the product support value chain.
Specific requirements and tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:
- ACV‑30 Lethality & Modification Support
- Support modification and sustainment actions for:
- Remote Weapon Station (RWS).
- 50 Caliber Upgrade
- Up‑Gunned Weapon Station (UGWS)
- Hydraulics systems
- Automatic Fire Sensing and Suppression System (AFSSS)
- Tow Pintle
- Throttle Linkage Assembly (TLA)
- Emergency Egress Lighting System (EELS)
- Support modification and sustainment actions for:
- Engineering & Technical Review Participation
- Support System Engineering Technical Reviews (SETRs).
- Participate in Engineering Review Boards (ERBs).
- Support Life Cycle Working Integrated Product Team (WIPT) meetings, Independent Logistics Assessments (ILAs), and Logistics Reviews.
- Analyze Life Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCE).
- Logistics Data & Documentation
- Develop and maintain logistics databases, System Specifications, Systems Engineering Plans (SEPs), Configuration Management Plans (CMPs), Integrated Master Plans (IMPs), and Integrated Master Schedules (IMSs).
- Review vendor documentation for compliance with logistics statutes, policies, and standards.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Business, Engineering or equivalent military experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in defense logistics, with at least 2 years supporting USMC or DoD acquisition programs.
- Experience equivalent to Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Advanced Level Logistics Certification.
Specific/Preferred Requirements:
- Active Secret Clearance required.
- Proficiency with logistics tools: PowerLOG‑J, COMPASS, WEBFLIS, ASSIST, CATALYST, SLICwave.
- Familiarity with Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and ACV‑related systems.
- Familiarity with Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), twelve IPS elements, and ACV-30 lethality systems
- Logistics Management Information (LMI)
- Develop Logistics Management Information (LMI) and enter data into authoritative LMI databases.
- Provisioning & Supportability Analysis
- Conduct provisioning, depot maintenance planning, packaging/handling/transportation (PHS&T), maintenance execution, design interface, and logistics support analyses.
- Support technical publications including operations, maintenance, and overhaul manuals.
- Supply Chain & Readiness Analysis
- Analyze readiness, supply, and maintenance data using enterprise tools such as:Portfolio Acquisition Executive - Marine Corps (PAE-MC) BEAST•
- Global Combat Support System – Marine Corps (GCSS‑MC)
- DMSMS, IUID & Repair Analysis
- Support Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) activities.
- Assist with Item Unique Identification (IUID) planning and updates.
- Conduct Core Logistics Capability Analysis (CLCA) and Level of Repair Analysis (LORA).
- Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) Support
- Develop logistics portions of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs).
- Support provisioning, procurement, kitting, installation instructions, and fielding management.
- Technical Manual (TM) Support
- Assist in development, revision, validation, and verification of Technical Manuals (TMs).
- Support vendor implementation of S1000D and GEIA‑0007 standards.
- Fielding & Equipment Turnover Support
- Support fielding actions across East/West Coast and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS).
- Conduct inventories, Limited Technical Inspections (LTIs), SL‑3 inventories, and vehicle preparation for delivery.
Physical Demands:
This position requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, speak and hear, and to use hands and arms for routine work tasks. The employee may occasionally lift or move items up to 30 pounds. Vision abilities required include close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses.
Work Environment:
The work environment includes On‑site support required at both Stafford, VA (PMO) and Ladysmith, VA. (V2X Facility). Noise levels range from quiet to moderate. Proper safety equipment must be used.
