Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a welcoming and organized Customer Service Representative to support a career fair in Boston, Massachusetts. This Contract position focuses on creating a smooth check-in experience by greeting attendees and verifying entry for both employers and job seekers. The ideal candidate brings a customer-first attitude, clear communication, and the ability to stay composed in a fast-paced event setting.

Responsibilities:
• Welcome employers and job seekers as they arrive and provide an attentive first point of contact throughout the event.
• Check in attendees efficiently by scanning registrations and confirming event access for participating guests and companies.
• Answer basic event-related questions and guide visitors to the appropriate areas when needed.
• Maintain an orderly entrance process to help keep lines moving and support a positive attendee experience.
• Communicate with event staff to address check-in issues, attendance questions, or unexpected concerns during the fair.
• Uphold a courteous and service-focused approach while representing the event in a detail-oriented manner.

Qualifications:

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with a wide range of people.
• Clear verbal communication and a detail-oriented approach in a public-facing environment.
• Comfort using basic scanning or check-in tools during a live event.
• Ability to remain organized and attentive in a busy, fast-moving setting.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality for a scheduled contract assignment.
• No prior experience required; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.

Compensation

$19.00-$22.00 Hourly
