Accounting Specialist
Our client is seeking an Accounting Specialist for a contract opportunity. This role is ideal for someone with general accounting experience who has worked in an office environment and can provide support across both accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide backup and support for Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
- Perform 2-way and 3-way matching for invoices and purchase orders
- Assist with cash reconciliations and other general accounting tasks.
- Maintain and update accounting spreadsheets with a high level of accuracy.
- Use Excel to manage data, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and basic spreadsheet calculations such as adding and subtracting data.
Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Experience in basic/general accounting.
- Prior experience working in an office environment.
- Experience with cash reconciliations.
- Strong Microsoft Excel
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Compensation
