Accounting Manager/Supervisor

Compensation: $120 to $130 Yearly

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to oversee core accounting operations for a fast-paced restaurant organization in Orlando, Florida. This role will lead month-end close, financial reporting, accounts payable oversight, and cash management while helping strengthen controls and improve process efficiency. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, leadership capability, and the ability to support multiple entities in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure financial results are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Examine general ledger activity, supporting schedules, accruals, and journal entries to maintain compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
• Prepare and review reconciliations and financial analyses, resolving outstanding items promptly to support reliable reporting.
• Oversee accounts payable operations, including invoice workflows, vendor payments, approval controls, and resolution of complex payment issues.
• Manage the flow of data across accounting platforms and related sub-systems, while supporting automation, system enhancements, and process alignment.
• Coordinate accounting support for restaurant openings and construction-related financial activities.
• Monitor daily cash activity, maintain cash flow forecasts, and update debt-related schedules to support effective cash planning.
• Supervise and develop accounting and accounts payable staff by setting expectations, providing guidance, and evaluating performance against established goals.
• Strengthen internal controls, refine procedures, and implement process improvements that increase accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of accounting experience, including leadership responsibility in a high-volume accounts payable and cash management environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA orprogress toward a CPA is strongly preferred.

• Strong background in month-end close, general ledger management, journal entries, and account reconciliations.

• Experience producing accurate financial reporting and supporting audit-ready accounting records.

• Proficiency with accounting software systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is strongly preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple entities, large transaction volumes, and diverse vendor relationships with strong attention to detail.

• Knowledge of process automation, workflow improvement, and internal control best practices.

• Strong organizational, communication, and team leadership skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.


Compensation

$120,000.00-$130,000.00 Yearly
