Creative and Marketing Team Project Manager

Robert Half Marketing and Creative is looking for a Creative and Marketing Team Project Manager to support a dynamic tourism organization in Denver, Colorado. This Contract position will guide a portfolio of brand and marketing initiatives by bringing structure to planning, governance, and execution across multiple teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, confident working with senior stakeholders, and skilled at keeping complex projects moving from concept through launch.

Responsibilities:

• Direct the end-to-end governance process for refresh and build initiatives, from initial intake and project setup through feasibility review and investment proposal preparation.

• Oversee portfolio timelines and major milestones, ensuring projects stay on track through implementation, pre-launch activities, and market launch.

• Run recurring governance meetings and decision checkpoints that create consistency, visibility, and accountability across active initiatives.

• Facilitate bi-weekly cross-functional meetings to align priorities, track commitments, and maintain momentum across workstreams.

• Serve as the primary coordination lead for teams spanning brand, revenue, communications, insights, digital, operations, and finance.

• Identify schedule risks, unresolved dependencies, and delivery issues early, then escalate and help drive practical solutions with stakeholders.

• Maintain accurate project plans and governance documentation in Asana, including owners, deadlines, dependencies, and supporting materials.

• Create concise portfolio reporting and leadership updates to inform status reviews and capital planning conversations.

• Strengthen project management standards, templates, and operating rhythms to support a growing portfolio and improve execution quality.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of project management experience, preferably within tourism, hospitality, brand marketing, capital projects, or related environments.
• Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent initiatives with varied timelines, stakeholders, and interdependencies.
• Hands-on experience with Asana or a comparable project management platform for tracking plans, ownership, and workflow progress.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and provide clear status updates.
• Proven ability to bring structure to complex work through governance models, stage-gate reviews, and disciplined project organization.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with changing priorities, high visibility, and occasional ambiguity.
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong judgment, problem-solving ability, and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
• Experience with investment proposals, portfolio reporting, brand-led initiatives, or governance framework development is highly valued.

Compensation

$35.00-$45.00 Hourly
