E-Commerce Specialist

We are looking for an E-Commerce Specialist to help drive the rollout of a new digital shopping experience and support day-to-day online operations for a growing brand in Westport, Connecticut. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who is comfortable stepping into a fast-moving environment, managing priorities independently, and contributing with minimal ramp-up time. The role offers close partnership with marketing and ecommerce leadership while helping ensure a smooth website launch and strong online customer experience.

Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the successful introduction of a new corporate website and online storefront by coordinating launch-related ecommerce activities.
• Manage Shopify-based site updates, product content, and merchandising tasks to keep the digital storefront accurate and engaging.
• Partner with marketing and ecommerce leaders to align website execution with campaign goals, brand standards, and business priorities.
• Oversee day-to-day ecommerce operations, including content publishing, product organization, and support for online sales initiatives.
• Track timelines, organize deliverables, and follow up on action items to keep cross-functional projects moving efficiently.
• Work independently to identify issues, recommend solutions, and maintain momentum in a high-speed remote work environment.
• Assist with platform-related operational efforts, including support for ecommerce updates, enhancements, or transition activities as needed.
• Help maintain a strong customer-facing experience across digital channels by ensuring site content and functionality meet quality expectations.

Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience working with Shopify in an ecommerce environment is required.
• Background in ecommerce marketing, digital merchandising, or online store operations.
• Strong project coordination abilities with a high level of organization and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience with content management systems and online retail platforms.
• Familiarity with NetSuite is a plus.
• Industry experience in beauty, cosmetics, luxury, or retail ecommerce is preferred.
• Prior involvement in website launches, ecommerce platform rollouts, or similar digital initiatives is advantageous.

Compensation

$42.75-$49.50 Hourly
