Data Entry Clerk

We are looking for a reliable Data Entry Clerk to support accurate record management for our team in Lima, New York. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who works carefully with large volumes of information, maintains strong attention to detail, and handles confidential data with professionalism. The person in this role will help keep files, databases, and digital records current, organized, and easy to access.

Responsibilities:

• Enter information into computer systems and databases with a high degree of speed and precision.

• Review submitted data for completeness, correct errors, and update records as needed.

• Maintain organized digital files to ensure information is accurate, current, and easy to retrieve.

• Process numeric and text-based entries while following established formatting and documentation standards.

• Protect sensitive information by handling records with discretion and confidentiality.

• Communicate with internal team members to clarify missing or inconsistent details before finalizing entries.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience performing data entry in a detail-focused setting.
• Strong typing skills with the ability to enter information accurately and efficiently.
• Comfort working with numeric data as well as general computer-based record entry.
• High level of attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to manage repetitive tasks while staying organized and focused.
• Dependable work habits and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.

Compensation

$19.00-$21.00 Hourly
