Compensation: $80 to $150 Yearly

We are looking for an accomplished employment attorney to represent workers in complex workplace disputes and deliver strong advocacy at every stage of the legal process. This position is based in Austin, Texas, and offers the chance to handle high-impact matters involving discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful discharge, and wage-related claims. The ideal candidate brings deep plaintiff-side litigation experience, sound judgment, and a commitment to protecting employee rights under Texas and federal law.

Responsibilities:
• Lead employment law matters on behalf of employees from initial case evaluation through settlement, trial, or other resolution.
• Prepare litigation documents such as complaints, motions, briefs, and other filings with accuracy and strategic focus.
• Direct discovery efforts, conduct and defend depositions, and appear in hearings and related proceedings.
• Counsel clients on workplace claims involving discriminatory treatment, harassment, retaliation, hostile environments, improper termination, and pay disputes.
• Develop settlement positions, draft demand packages, and represent clients during mediation and negotiation discussions.
• Support and prepare submissions for administrative proceedings and agency complaints as part of broader case strategy.
• Work closely with legal colleagues and support staff to assess claims, refine litigation approaches, and pursue favorable outcomes.
• Maintain organized case progress through effective use of case management tools and consistent client communication.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law in Texas.
• At least 10 years of experience handling employment litigation matters.
• Demonstrated background in plaintiff-side employment law is strongly preferred.
• Strong capability in legal research, persuasive writing, oral argument, and overall courtroom advocacy.
• Ability to independently manage a substantial caseload while maintaining high standards of client service.
• Experience with civil litigation procedures, briefing, and case management software.
• Thorough knowledge of Texas and federal employment law frameworks.
• Clear commitment to advocating for employees in workplace rights disputes.

Compensation

$80,000.00-$150,000.00 Yearly
