Inventory Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to support daily operations in the service department in Odessa, Texas. This Contract to permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who can balance administrative accuracy with responsive coordination across service, purchasing, and customer support activities. In this role, you will work closely with the Service Manager to keep records organized, assist with service-related documentation, and help ensure technicians and equipment are scheduled efficiently.

Responsibilities:
• Manage incoming service department calls and provide attentive support to customers and internal teams.
• Prepare and process service invoices, purchase orders, and work tickets with a high degree of accuracy.
• Coordinate the dispatch of service technicians and equipment to help maintain timely field operations.
• Maintain inventory and asset records, including updates to tracking systems and support for physical inventory counts.
• Enter numeric and operational data into purchasing and service systems while ensuring information is complete and accurate.
• Assist with material and purchasing activities by creating requests and documenting order details for service needs.
• Work alongside the Service Manager to support day-to-day service administration and workflow organization.
• Help resolve routine customer service issues by communicating updates and directing requests to the appropriate team members.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in inventory control, service coordination, dispatching, or a related administrative support role.
• Working knowledge of purchase orders, purchase requests, invoicing, and inventory tracking processes.
• Strong data entry skills with the ability to manage high-volume and numeric information accurately.
• Comfortable using computer-based systems for purchasing, ticketing, and record maintenance.
• Customer service experience with the ability to communicate clearly by phone and in writing.
• Ability to stay organized while handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced service environment.
• Experience supporting physical inventory activities or asset inventory management is preferred.

Compensation

$20.00-$25.00 Hourly
