Human Resources (HR) Assistant
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate onboarding activities, including preparing onboarding materials, gathering required documentation, and helping employees transition smoothly into the organization.
• Maintain accurate personnel records and update employee information within HR systems to support organized and compliant HR operations.
• Assist with background screening steps by tracking requirements, following up on outstanding items, and confirming completion before start dates.
• Provide administrative support for routine human resources processes, including document management, scheduling, and responding to general staff questions.
• Support employee relations efforts by helping route concerns appropriately, documenting interactions, and ensuring timely follow-up when needed.
• Prepare HR-related correspondence, forms, and reports to help the department operate efficiently and consistently.
• Help monitor onboarding and HRIS workflows, including tasks connected to internal system-related processes when assigned.
• Work closely with HR team members to ensure policies, procedures, and employee records are handled with care and professionalism.
Qualifications:
• Experience supporting human resources administration in a detail-focused work environment.• Working knowledge of HRIS platforms and the ability to maintain accurate employee data.
• Familiarity with onboarding coordination and pre-employment processes, including background checks.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively when assisting employees and internal stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Discretion in handling sensitive employee information and confidential records.
• Previous exposure to employee relations support is preferred.
