Administrative Assistant
Responsibilities:
• Welcome visitors and serve as the first point of contact for incoming calls, directing inquiries appropriately and maintaining a welcoming office presence.
• Provide day-to-day administrative support by preparing documents, organizing records, and keeping office information accurate and up to date.
• Perform data entry tasks with strong attention to accuracy, ensuring files, logs, and internal documents are maintained properly.
• Coordinate routine office activities such as scheduling, correspondence, and general clerical tasks to help the team operate efficiently.
• Use Microsoft Office applications to create, edit, and manage reports, spreadsheets, and other business documents.
• Support reception and administrative office functions by handling inbound communication and assisting with general operational needs.
• Maintain organized filing systems and assist with document retrieval to support staff members and ongoing office priorities.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in an administrative assistant, receptionist, or general office support role.• Strong ability to manage inbound calls professionally and respond to routine inquiries effectively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Accurate data entry skills with close attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work fully on-site in Amherst, New York during standard Monday through Friday business hours.
• Comfortable handling multiple clerical tasks while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in a business office setting.
Compensation
