Human Resources (HR) Generalist
We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join an organization in Media, Pennsylvania. This onsite contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting employees across the full HR lifecycle, from talent acquisition and onboarding to benefits administration and employee relations. The role works closely with leadership and internal teams to help maintain compliant, efficient, and people-focused HR operations.
Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day human resources activities across recruitment, onboarding, employee support, and HR administration.
• Coordinate recruitment efforts by posting openings, reviewing candidates, scheduling interviews, and assisting with the selection process.
• Administer employee benefits programs and serve as a resource for staff questions related to coverage, eligibility, and enrollment.
• Lead and support open enrollment activities, including communication, documentation, and follow-up with employees and vendors.
• Address employee relations matters with professionalism, discretion, and alignment to company policy and employment guidelines.
• Maintain accurate personnel records and HRIS data within Paylocity and ensure documentation is current and organized.
• Prepare reports, letters, and other HR-related materials using Microsoft Office Suite and internal systems.
• Partner with management to support HR initiatives, workplace policies, and employee engagement efforts.
Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist or similar HR support role.
• Hands-on background in employee relations, benefits administration, onboarding, and general HR operations.
• Experience supporting open enrollment and responding to employee benefit inquiries.
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms, and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality, sound judgment, and professionalism.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in an onsite office environment.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
Compensation
