Procurement Specialist
Responsibilities:
• Review internal purchasing requests and prepare purchase orders with a high level of accuracy and timeliness.
• Guide suppliers through onboarding steps, collecting required documentation and confirming adherence to procurement standards.
• Monitor open orders, follow up on shipment schedules, and resolve issues involving delays, missing items, or order discrepancies.
• Collaborate with teams across HR, Operations, and Finance to align purchasing activity with business needs and budget considerations.
• Organize procurement files, supplier information, and contract records to support compliance and audit preparedness.
• Help assess vendor performance by tracking service levels, identifying concerns, and supporting ongoing supplier reviews.
• Contribute to initiatives that improve purchasing efficiency, strengthen process consistency, and support cost-conscious decision-making.
Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain support, purchasing coordination, or a related administrative role.• Demonstrated ability to manage purchase orders and support day-to-day buying processes in a structured business environment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to keep records accurate and tasks organized.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to build productive working relationships internally and with external vendors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience using procurement or ERP systems is preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt in a busy work setting.
• Familiarity with corporate procurement practices and exposure to contract negotiations is a plus.
Compensation
