Staff Accountant

We are looking for a Staff Accountant to support accurate, timely financial reporting for our retail operations in Rogers, Arkansas. This position plays an important role in maintaining reliable accounting records, preparing key statements, and helping ensure reporting aligns with company standards and accounting guidelines. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, careful attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with teams across the business.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation to promote accurate reporting and proper record retention.
• Prepare recurring financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and other reports that reflect overall financial performance and position.
• Examine financial data and reports to confirm accuracy, completeness, and adherence to applicable accounting practices and internal controls.
• Work with departments across the organization to address accounting questions, gather needed information, and support reporting deadlines.
• Identify discrepancies or potential issues early and help resolve them before they affect reporting quality or timing.
• Contribute to special assignments and broader accounting initiatives as business needs evolve.
• Follow established company policies, procedures, and ethical expectations in all accounting activities.
• Deliver assigned work on schedule while maintaining dependable performance and consistent follow-through.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated knowledge of accounting fundamentals and experience preparing financial statements.
• Ability to create and review balance sheets and profit and loss statements with a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to verify financial information for completeness and compliance.
• Solid organizational skills with the ability to maintain clear, well-structured documentation.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and a consistent focus on meeting deadlines.
• Experience working in a retail or similarly fast-paced business environment is preferred.

Compensation

$70,000.00-$80,000.00 Yearly
