Marketing and Business Development Coordinator

We are looking for a proactive Marketing and Business Development Coordinator to support the firm’s visibility, client outreach, and growth initiatives in Washington, District of Columbia. This role blends digital marketing, content development, event promotion, and business development support, working closely with attorneys and firm leadership. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple marketing priorities while maintaining a detail-oriented and effective presence.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee ongoing updates to the firm’s website by collaborating with attorneys and internal stakeholders to develop accurate, engaging content.
• Manage the firm’s social media channels, coordinate contributions from attorneys, and help maintain a consistent online brand presence.
• Track web traffic and digital engagement metrics, prepare monthly performance summaries, and recommend ways to strengthen online visibility.
• Create, revise, and maintain marketing collateral for the firm, individual attorneys, and practice areas to ensure materials remain current and effective.
• Support the drafting and distribution of client alerts, firm announcements, and news related to case results, publications, speaking engagements, and new attorney arrivals.
• Coordinate promotional efforts for receptions, webinars, and speaking events, partnering with attorneys to increase awareness and attendance.
• Assist with submissions for legal directories, rankings, and related recognition programs by gathering information and preparing application materials.
• Contribute to the development of pitch documents and other business development resources used in client pursuit efforts.
• Serve as a point of contact with the firm’s external marketing consultant and help advance broader marketing and growth strategies set by firm leadership.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in a marketing, communications, or business development support role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage email campaigns, social media activity, and web content updates.
• Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to tailor content for specific audiences.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort working directly with senior team members and communicating with clients in a clear, timely manner.
• Proficiency with online analytics and the ability to turn data into clear reporting insights.
• High attention to detail, sound organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Compensation

$65,000.00-$85,000.00 Yearly
