Patient Registration
Responsibilities:
• Manage patient intake and inpatient admission activities with a high level of accuracy and timeliness.
• Coordinate closely with outpatient clinics, care managers, and internal teams to support prompt appointment setup, including same-day scheduling when appropriate.
• Partner with referring providers to ensure patients move efficiently from referral through registration and scheduling.
• Support uninsured patients by assisting with financial counseling-related administrative processes and directing them to appropriate resources.
• Verify and update patient demographic, insurance, and registration information in accordance with department standards.
• Provide general office support by handling document scanning, record filing, fax distribution, and other administrative tasks as needed.
• Deliver courteous customer service to patients, families, and care team members while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of experience in patient scheduling, patient registration, and insurance verification.• Demonstrated ability to provide strong customer service in a healthcare or patient-facing environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare software or registration systems is strongly preferred.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a team while also managing tasks independently.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills in a fast-paced setting.
• Bilingual English and Spanish skills are preferred.
Compensation
