IT Project Coordinator/Jr IT Project Manager

Compensation: $65 to $75 Yearly

We are looking for an IT Project Coordinator/Jr IT Project Manager to support technology initiatives and coordinate project activities in Tampa, Florida. This role is ideal for someone who can keep timelines organized, communicate effectively across teams, and help drive smaller IT projects and release efforts to successful completion. The position offers an opportunity to build project management experience while contributing to insurance-related technology work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the day-to-day delivery of smaller IT projects, helping ensure scope, schedules, and budgets remain on track.
• Partner with technical teams and business stakeholders to organize milestones, document deliverables, and maintain project visibility.
• Track project status using relevant databases and EO/IR tools, identifying issues early and supporting timely resolution.
• Communicate updates, risks, and next steps clearly to team members, leadership, and business partners throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support users and stakeholders by responding to questions, managing expectations, and providing a high level of service.
• Assist with planning, scheduling, and executing software releases and post-production activities to minimize operational disruption.
• Contribute insurance domain knowledge, particularly within Property & Casualty, to help inform project decisions and priorities.
• Participate in integration-related project work when business combinations or operational alignment efforts affect timelines and deliverables.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, meeting notes, and status reporting to support transparency and accountability.

Qualifications:

• Experience coordinating IT projects or supporting project management activities in a structured environment.
• Working knowledge of database management and the ability to use data to monitor project progress and outcomes.
• Hands-on experience with EO/IR systems and familiarity with About Time software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
• Proven customer service skills and the ability to handle stakeholder questions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Understanding of software release planning, scheduling, and coordination processes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and maintain strong attention to detail.
• Exposure to Property & Casualty Insurance and experience supporting integration-related efforts are preferred.

Compensation

$65,000.00-$75,000.00 Yearly
