Director of Client Services
Responsibilities:
• Direct a range of active client engagements, ensuring deliverables are completed according to agreed timelines, objectives, and quality expectations.
• Review account performance on a regular basis to evaluate relationship health, surface potential concerns early, and coordinate solutions before issues escalate.
• Grow existing partnerships by identifying additional client needs, contributing to renewals, and helping expand services across the account portfolio.
• Lead executive-level client discussions, present recommendations clearly, and provide hands-on senior support when complex situations require it.
• Assist with business development efforts by shaping proposals, supporting presentations, and helping define scopes for prospective engagements.
• Build and refine delivery frameworks that support consistent execution, including planning rhythms, quality checks, milestone oversight, and account strategy reviews.
• Partner with practice leaders to align staffing decisions across engagements, balancing client priorities with team capacity and development opportunities.
• Guide the launch of new client work by ensuring teams begin with clear responsibilities, defined goals, and measurable outcomes.
• Maintain strong communication channels between leadership and account teams so priorities, risks, and decisions remain visible and actionable.
• Lead, coach, and develop client service team members while contributing to hiring, onboarding, performance feedback, and the operating routines that keep work moving efficiently.
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience leading client service or account management functions at a senior level.• Strong analytical reasoning skills with the ability to assess account performance, identify risks, and recommend practical solutions.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and oversee several engagements simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial considerations that support sound client and business decisions.
• Experience using analytics to evaluate performance, inform planning, and improve delivery outcomes.
• Background in mentoring and developing high-performing teams, including coaching, performance management, and talent growth.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build credibility with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Familiarity with eHRPD or related systems is preferred.
Compensation
