Systems Analyst

We are looking for a Systems Analyst to support a non-profit organization in Santa Monica, California through a Long-term Contract engagement. This role will focus on evaluating business processes, translating operational needs into clear technical requirements, and developing practical automation solutions that improve efficiency across departments. The ideal candidate brings strong experience with Power Automate and Copilot, along with the ability to document workflows, analyze systems, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
• Partner with teams across the organization to understand current processes, capture business needs, and define functional requirements for system and workflow improvements.
• Design, build, and refine automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate to streamline recurring tasks and reduce manual effort.
• Use Microsoft Copilot to support analysis, documentation, and solution development in alignment with business objectives.
• Create clear process maps, requirement documents, and supporting system documentation to guide implementation and future enhancements.
• Assess existing operations to identify opportunities for automation, reporting improvements, and better system utilization.
• Work with stakeholders to translate business challenges into scalable technical solutions that align with organizational priorities.
• Support reporting and data analysis efforts using tools such as Power BI and Microsoft SQL Server to inform decision-making.
• Contribute to system-related initiatives and process updates, including efforts connected to platform or workflow changes when needed.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in a Systems Analyst role or a closely related position.
• Demonstrated hands-on expertise in building and managing flows within Microsoft Power Automate.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Copilot in a business or systems analysis environment.
• Experience gathering requirements and producing clear business and process documentation.
• Proven ability to collaborate with multiple departments and work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience recognizing automation opportunities and delivering practical solutions.
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI, and business requirement documentation.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills in support of system improvement efforts.

Compensation

$51.46-$59.59 Hourly
