Medical Administrator
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate patient appointments, manage calendar updates, and help maintain an organized daily schedule for the office.
• Review and update electronic medical records to ensure patient information is complete, accurate, and easy to access.
• Verify medical insurance coverage and assist with confirming eligibility before scheduled visits or procedures.
• Communicate with patients and internal staff regarding scheduling changes, required documentation, and general administrative needs.
• Support front-office operations by preparing forms, processing routine paperwork, and maintaining orderly records.
• Apply basic medical terminology knowledge when handling documentation, messages, and administrative communications related to patient care.
Qualifications:
• Experience in a medical administrative, healthcare office, or similar support role.• Working knowledge of basic medical terminology and the ability to use it accurately in an administrative setting.
• Familiarity with insurance verification processes and patient eligibility confirmation.
• Hands-on experience using electronic medical record systems for documentation and record maintenance.
• Ability to manage patient scheduling while handling multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach when interacting with patients and healthcare staff.
Compensation
