Sr HR Generalist (Contract onsite)
Robert Half HR Solutions is currently sourcing for a contract Sr. Human Resources Generalist to support our client on a Contract basis in Atlanta, Georgia. This role will partner closely with HR leadership to provide broad support across talent acquisition, employee administration, benefits, reporting, and compliance activities. The ideal candidate brings strong generalist experience, thrives in a fast-moving environment, and can step in quickly to manage both recruiting support and day-to-day HR needs. This role is onsite in Sandy Springs 100%. This role is expected to last about 2 months as it is supporting an overextended HR department that needs additional support.
Responsibilities:
• Provide recruiting support by coordinating candidate pipelines, scheduling interviews, partnering with hiring managers, and helping move talent through the hiring process short of full-cycle ownership.
• Support the HR Director with day-to-day generalist activities, ensuring timely follow-through across multiple people operations priorities.
• Prepare and analyze HR reports, maintain employee records, and use HRIS tools to keep workforce data accurate and current.
• Assist with onboarding activities to create a smooth start for new hires, including documentation, coordination, and orientation support.
• Administer benefits-related tasks by responding to employee questions, supporting enrollments, and helping resolve routine issues.
• Help maintain compliance with company policies and employment requirements through documentation, audits, and process tracking.
• Address employee relations matters with professionalism, escalating complex concerns when appropriate and helping ensure consistent follow-up.
• Contribute to ad hoc HR projects and operational assignments as business needs evolve.
• Utilize Workday experience, if applicable, to support HR transactions, reporting, and data management.
Qualifications:
• 7+ years of experience in human resources with a strong background in generalist responsibilities.• Demonstrated success supporting talent acquisition activities in a high-volume environment, without requiring full-cycle recruiting ownership.
• Experience handling employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, and HR operations support.
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms; Workday experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to generate reports, manage data accurately, and maintain organized HR documentation.
• Working knowledge of HR compliance practices and employee recordkeeping standards.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to support leaders and employees across a wide range of HR matters.
• Capacity to manage shifting priorities and perform effectively in a contract role requiring broad, hands-on support.
Compensation
