Closing Coordinator

Robert Half is excited to partner with a leading Real Estate company in the Buffalo, NY area on their search for an Administrative Specialist. This role focuses on coordinating commission and escrow closing for a 200+ agent team in various New York State locations. This is a Direct Hire position with a starting wage of $20 - $21 per hour, excellent overtime potential, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

 

• Process real estate commission payments, escrow deposits, and daily bank deposits for closed transactions
• Prepare, issue, and reconcile escrow disbursements in accordance with transaction documentation
• Print, distribute, and maintain records of weekly commission payments
• Communicate with branch offices, attorneys, and co-brokers to resolve transaction and payment discrepancies
• Record and reconcile deposits for affiliated companies and provide supporting documentation to the accounting team
• Maintain accurate transaction files and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least one year of experience in banking, accounting, finance, or payment processing with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality

Compensation

$39,000.00-$40,950.00 Yearly
