Human Resources Manager

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to join a healthcare-focused organization on a contract assignment. In this role, you will provide steady leadership across employee relations and benefits while supporting senior leaders during a time of heightened operational demand. This opportunity is well suited for an HR specialist who is comfortable balancing strategic guidance with day-to-day execution in a complex, multi-site environment.

Responsibilities:

• Direct employee relations activities across multiple locations, including reviewing concerns, leading workplace investigations, resolving conflicts, and applying company policies consistently.

• Work closely with operational leaders and executives to address workforce issues, evaluate risk, and develop practical resolutions for employee matters and claims.

• Coordinate with outside counsel when sensitive or high-risk employee relations situations require legal input or additional guidance.

• Oversee core benefits administration activities by partnering with vendors, monitoring program effectiveness, and helping ensure a positive employee experience.

• Support benefits planning efforts by contributing to program enhancements, long-range recommendations, and ongoing analysis of offerings.

• Provide oversight to payroll-related processes in collaboration with internal partners to help maintain accuracy and timely execution.

• Identify opportunities to strengthen HR workflows, improve organizational effectiveness, and support a streamlined team through practical process enhancements.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership by offering informed recommendations and hands-on support across key HR priorities.

Qualifications:

• At least 8 years of progressive human resources experience, including substantial responsibility for employee relations.
• Demonstrated success managing complex employee relations issues within a multi-site or geographically dispersed organization.
• Working knowledge of benefits administration, employee benefit programs, and vendor coordination.
• Experience partnering with legal counsel on employee matters, investigations, or policy-related issues.
• Ability to operate as a hands-on HR leader who can shift between strategic planning and direct execution.
• Strong business judgment and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization.
• Familiarity with payroll coordination and HR systems; experience with ADP or similar platforms is helpful.
• Industry background in healthcare, hospitals, social assistance, or similarly regulated environments is preferred.

Compensation

$65.00-$70.00 Hourly
