Legal Operations / Paralegal
We are looking for a highly organized Legal Operations / Paralegal specialist to support a financial services team in Burbank, California. This part time Contract position focuses on contract coordination, legal invoice administration, and day-to-day operational support for the legal function. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, sound judgment when handling sensitive information, and the ability to keep multiple legal processes moving efficiently. Estimated 15 hours a week.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the intake, review, and timely processing of legal invoices while maintaining accurate tracking records.
• Coordinate contract administration activities using approved templates and ensure documentation is complete throughout each stage of the agreement lifecycle.
• Monitor approval status, follow up with stakeholders for signatures, and help drive contracts through completion with internal teams and external parties.
• Maintain well-organized legal files, records, and supporting materials to promote accessibility and compliance.
• Safeguard confidential and sensitive documents with a high level of discretion.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the legal team, including coordination of calendars and workflow-related tasks.
• Use tools such as Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and related collaboration platforms to manage documentation and communication effectively.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience in legal operations, paralegal support, contract administration, or a comparable legal support environment.• Demonstrated ability to manage detailed contract workflows with accuracy and strong organizational control.
• Experience handling confidential records and sensitive business information responsibly.
• Proficiency with contract templates and document collaboration tools, including Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across internal departments and external contacts.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities, track deadlines, and maintain follow-through in a fast-paced setting.
• Familiarity with calendar management and administrative coordination within an organized office environment.
Compensation
