Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager to lead daily payables operations in Brea, California. This position oversees invoice processing, payment execution, and workflow accuracy while supporting a well-controlled and efficient accounting environment. The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of accounts payable procedures and can guide a team while maintaining timely, accurate vendor payments.

Responsibilities:
• Direct day-to-day accounts payable activities, ensuring invoices are reviewed, coded, and processed accurately within established deadlines.
• Supervise payment cycles, including check disbursements and ACH transactions, while confirming approvals and supporting documentation are complete.
• Monitor invoice coding for proper account allocation and consistency with internal financial controls.
• Lead and support accounts payable staff by assigning work, reviewing output, and promoting efficient processing practices.
• Resolve payment discrepancies, vendor questions, and invoice-related issues in a timely and thorough manner.
• Maintain accurate records of payables activity and prepare reports that help track payment status, aging, and workflow performance.
• Partner with accounting and operational teams to improve payable processes and strengthen compliance with company procedures.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in accounts payable, including invoice coding, payment processing, and vendor account management.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience within an accounts payable or accounting function.
• Working knowledge of check runs and electronic payments, including ACH processing.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to review transactions for accuracy and completeness.
• Ability to organize competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills for working with vendors, internal departments, and team members.
• Proficiency with accounting systems and standard office software used to manage payables workflows.

Compensation

$85,000.00-$95,000.00 Yearly
