Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support a busy customer contact environment in Clayton, North Carolina. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, managing order details accurately, and providing prompt service over the phone. The person in this role will handle a high volume of inbound interactions while also completing outbound follow-up as needed to resolve questions and keep requests moving efficiently.

Responsibilities:
• Respond to incoming customer calls with professionalism, accuracy, and a service-focused approach.
• Enter customer orders and update account information carefully to maintain complete and reliable records.
• Make outbound calls when follow-up is needed to confirm details, provide updates, or resolve open issues.
• Address customer questions, concerns, and service requests in a clear and timely manner.
• Document conversations and transaction details thoroughly within company systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure customer requests are routed correctly and completed on time.
• Monitor active orders and communicate status changes or next steps to customers as needed.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a call center or customer-facing support role.
• Ability to manage inbound and outbound calls while maintaining a courteous and detail-focused tone.
• Strong data entry and order processing skills with close attention to detail.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills for customer interaction and documentation.
• Comfort handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced service environment.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn internal systems quickly.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering dependable customer support.

Compensation

$19.95-$23.10 Hourly
