Accounting Manager/Supervisor

Compensation: $120 to $150 Yearly

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who excels at driving accurate financial reporting, managing employee programs, and streamlining processes. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting both operational performance and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including reconciliations and resolution of outstanding items.
• Perform cash, bank, and credit card reconciliations to maintain a transparent financial outlook.
• Process payroll with precision, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
• Monitor inventory valuation and pricing data to ensure alignment with financial reporting.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, dashboards, and analyses to support leadership decision-making.
• Collaborate on internal and external audits by providing thorough documentation and analysis.
• Develop and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in payroll, benefits, and reporting.
• Administer employee benefits programs and address inquiries with professionalism.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, payroll, and benefits administration, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

• Comprehensive knowledge of payroll processing and benefits regulations.

• Proficiency in accounting and payroll software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Paychex.

• Strong analytical and organizational skills with an ability to solve complex problems.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively across all organizational levels.

• Familiarity with manufacturing cost accounting and financial statement preparation.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
