VP/Director of Finance
Responsibilities:
• Lead the organization’s financial and administrative activities, ensuring daily operations align with strategic and operational goals.
• Direct the development of annual budgets, monitor performance against financial plans, and provide insight to support sound resource allocation.
• Oversee accounting functions, month-end close activities, audits, reimbursement processes, and timely financial reporting for leadership review.
• Manage cash flow forecasting and treasury activities to maintain financial stability and support ongoing program needs.
• Establish and strengthen internal controls, procurement practices, and financial procedures to promote accuracy, accountability, and regulatory compliance.
• Advise senior leadership on financial policies, administrative standards, and risk considerations tied to organizational decisions.
• Supervise finance and administration staff, providing leadership, direction, and performance oversight across the department.
• Coordinate facilities-related administrative functions and support operational improvements that enhance program and service delivery.
• Build productive working relationships with internal leaders and external finance counterparts to support collaboration and consistency in financial management.
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated leadership experience in finance and administration, ideally within a complex or mission-driven organization.• Strong background in annual budgeting, budget management, and financial planning processes.
• Hands-on experience with month-end close, financial reporting, cash flow forecasting, and audit coordination.
• Thorough understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, procurement practices, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to interpret state and federal financial regulations and apply them effectively in daily operations.
• Proven success leading teams, setting priorities, and managing multiple functions with a high level of professionalism.
• Excellent judgment, communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive financial and organizational information confidentially.
Compensation
