Lab Assistant

We are looking for an organized Lab Assistant to support inventory accuracy and material flow operations in Pennsylvania. This position is well suited for someone who can balance hands-on inventory work with precise recordkeeping and responsive support for internal teams. The role will focus on maintaining dependable stock data, assisting production-related inventory activity, and contributing to routine count processes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate inventory records by updating stock movements, usage details, and asset information in a timely manner.

• Support assembly line operations by ensuring materials are tracked correctly and available when needed for daily production activity.

• Perform regular inventory counts and assist with annual physical inventory activities to verify on-hand quantities and resolve discrepancies.

• Monitor asset inventory across designated areas and help keep item locations, quantities, and status information current.

• Enter inventory-related data into internal systems with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Respond to internal inquiries with attentive customer service and provide dependable phone coverage as needed.

• Investigate variances between recorded and actual inventory levels and communicate findings to the appropriate team members.

• Help organize inventory documentation and maintain orderly records to support audits and operational reporting

Qualifications:

• Experience working with inventory tracking, stock control, or asset management processes.

• Ability to support assembly line or production-related material activities in an organized manner.

• Strong data entry skills with consistent accuracy and attention to detail.

• Familiarity with annual inventory counts and physical inventory procedures.

• Effective customer service and communication skills, including clear and courteous phone support.

• Ability to identify discrepancies, follow procedures, and maintain reliable records.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple inventory tasks.
