Logistics Coordinator

We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support shipping and distribution operations for a Contract position based in Frederickson, Washington. This role focuses on keeping freight movement organized, maintaining clear communication with internal teams and external partners, and helping ensure shipments are processed accurately and on schedule. The ideal candidate brings a strong customer service mindset, practical logistics knowledge, and confidence using Excel to track and manage daily activity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily transportation and distribution activity to help ensure products move efficiently and according to schedule.

• Arrange outbound and inbound shipments, prepare shipping documentation, and confirm that order details are complete and accurate.

• Work with carriers, warehouse personnel, and internal stakeholders to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and dispatching priorities.

• Monitor shipment status, respond to delays or service issues, and communicate timely updates to customers and team members.

• Support customs-related shipping processes by verifying required paperwork and helping maintain compliance with applicable procedures.

• Maintain logistics records, shipment logs, and performance tracking reports using Microsoft Excel and related systems.

• Address customer inquiries related to shipment timing, order status, and delivery concerns with professionalism and urgency.

Qualifications:

• Experience supporting logistics, distribution, or transportation operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of shipping procedures, dispatch coordination, and freight documentation.
• Familiarity with customs processes and the ability to handle related records accurately.
• Strong customer service and communication skills when working with vendors, carriers, and internal teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking shipments, organizing data, and preparing reports.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to respond effectively to changing shipment needs.

Compensation

$22.00-$25.00 Hourly
