Bookkeeper

Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper on a contract or contract-to-hire basis. for one of our clients. This role is ideal for an organized accounting professional with experience managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting overall accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports in a timely and accurate manner.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end close and prepare financial reports for management review.
• Support payroll processing and ensure related records are properly maintained.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure financial data accuracy and compliance with company procedures.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bookkeeping or general accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP or Oracle NetSuite preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong data entry accuracy.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
