Human Resources Generalist

Our client in the biotech industry is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations and key people initiatives. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, adaptable professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can support a broad range of HR functions, including employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily HR operations across onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, benefits, and compliance
• Assist with new employee orientation, employee documentation, and HRIS data maintenance
• Respond to employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and HR programs in a timely and professional manner
• Help administer benefits programs, leave tracking, and open enrollment activities
• Maintain employee files and ensure records are accurate, organized, and compliant with company policies and applicable regulations
• Partner with hiring managers and internal teams to support recruiting coordination and workforce planning efforts
• Assist with performance management processes, employee engagement initiatives, and training programs
• Support HR reporting, audits, and special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of human resources experience in a generalist or broad HR support role
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• Knowledge of employee relations, benefits administration, onboarding, and HR compliance practices
• Experience using HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

Preferred Background:

• Experience supporting HR functions within the biotech, life sciences, healthcare, or other regulated industry environments
• Familiarity with fast-growth organizations and evolving workforce needs
• HR certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP is a plus
