| Position Summary: |
The Export Control Analyst supports institutional compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanctions programs. Reporting to the Director of Research Security and Export Controls, this position manages Restricted Party Screening (RPS), develops and maintains Technology Control Plans (TCPs), monitors procurements, conducts commodity classifications, and contributes to the University’s broader research security efforts. The Export Control Analyst collaborates closely with faculty, research administrators, procurement, the Office of General Counsel, Offices of Research Administration, Public Safety, and University Technology Services to ensure full compliance with all applicable federal export control requirements.

a.) Tools, machinery and equipment used: Standard office equipment including computer, telephone, printer. Compliance management software and restricted party screening platforms.
b.) Environmental conditions: Standard office environment. No unusual or adverse conditions.
Physical requirements: Standard office environment. Occasional travel may be available for professional development, training conferences, or regulatory meetings. Hybrid/flexible work arrangements may be available in accordance with University policy.
