Job Purpose:
Expert level of knowledge, can handle major issues with Secondary Packaging machines, can lead changeovers, capable of major troubleshooting and root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventative actions. Able to control multiple lines efficiently. Ensures productivity goals are met or exceeded.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Assist the Supervisor with overseeing Secondary Packaging.
· Able to collectively cover for shift Supervisor when they are absent from the packaging area.
· Perform additional work duties or responsibilities as evident or required.
· Assist as needed with cleaning, adjustments and preventive maintenance on equipment.
· Troubleshoot problems and assist with maintenance and repairs as needed.
· Set up equipment in the correct configuration for the product scheduled / running to be processed.
· Document machine startup settings and be able to write descriptive reports/explanations in manufacturing maintenance log book/MBR.
· Communication to/from peers, oncoming/off-going Supervisor and other Lead Line Technician.
Supplemental Functions:
· Ensure packaging lines are running efficiently.
· Verify all Batch Records include all required signatures and or initials.
· Ensure training of new hires and any personnel involved in cross training.
· Perform administrative duties to include personnel scheduling and monitoring production lines.
· Interchangeable across all packaging lines and configurations.
· Adhere to GMPs and hold those around them accountable.
Requirements:
Knowledge & Skills:
· Must be able to pass a Drug Test.
· Must speak, write, and read English
· Specific expertise, skills, and knowledge gained through education and experience.

Education/Experience:
· Minimum High School Diploma or GED
· Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Industry preferred
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:
· Position required lifting (up to 50lbs), bending, climbing, reaching, good vision, standing, sitting, walking, gripping, talking, and hearing.
- Incumbents required to wear safety glasses, hearing protection and other non-specified protective equipment as necessary.
