Overview
The GM for Multi-Housing is the driving force behind roughly $160M in revenue across two direct-selling segments — Multi-Housing (direct to Route Operators serving apartments, property management companies, RV parks, and similar) and Key Accounts (factory-direct, without a distributor, to customers such as hospitality and assisted living). This is a builder and a coach: a hands-on sales leader who sets the strategy, develops a high-performing team, and executes to accelerate profitable growth — driven by a genuine passion for both selling and growing people.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for driving profitable growth of the segment; owns revenue and margin targets and adjusts the sales strategy accordingly to achieve financial goals
- Primarily responsible for sales as a hands-on, in-market leader, plus sales strategy, go-to-market approach, and sales channel mix
- Build, manage, and maintain relationships with key existing and prospective customers; personally manage and nurture strategic key accounts, and actively manage the sales pipeline to drive performance against targets and KPIs
- Develop and execute a strategy and operating plan to achieve goals including revenue, margin, and overall profitability of the segment; develop and implement continuity and growth strategies
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of sales professionals who master value selling and technology-enabled solutions; set clear goals and expectations, provide regular coaching and feedback, and ensure the team has the resources and training to succeed
- Provide segment and customer input to product/solution roadmaps in collaboration with the Product and technology teams
- Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs, and use those insights to inform sales strategy and go-to-market decisions
- Develop and monitor performance indicators. Forecast and explain variances in key portfolio and performance measures
- Work in conjunction with ALS support services (Aftersales and Order Desk) and have a close relationship with FP&A Business Partner
