**Location: Can be located outside the state of Mississippi, but will be expected to travel and work onsite during field studies**
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for supporting site assessments, remedial investigations, long-term monitoring, land use control inspections
- Oversee the maintenance of treatment systems and provide recommendations on how to improve operational uptime.
- Oversee the management of investigation derived waste, sampling of groundwater, soil, sediment and surface water, hydrogeologic analysis, and contaminant fate-and-transport analysis
- Candidate will be responsible for working with multiple clients and contractors in both the commercial and government sector
- Oversee well drilling and operations and monitoring well installations, log soil borings, collect field samples, prepare data quality reports, and communicate with field personnel to achieve field mobilization goals
- Prepare reports including but not limited to UFP-QAPPs, PMPs, QCPs, AAP/SSHPs, Remedial Investigation Reports, Long Term Monitoring Reports and Remedial Action Operation Reports
- Travel will be required between 30-50% of the time
Qualifications
- 2 - 7 years of experience preferably in environmental restoration field
- Must have Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geology or other Environmental related field
- Professional certification preferred
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- 40-hr HAZWOPER trained with updated 8-hr annual refreshers preferred.
- Current First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
- Other certifications/licenses are a plus.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good problem solving skills and able to work well independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Access)
- GIS/GPS experience is a plus
- PFAS investigation experience a plus
- May be required to undergo a standard background check along with verification of education requirements
