Accountant/Office Manager

A small, tight-knit and casual audiovisual company in Albuquerque, is seeking a full-time, on-site Accountant (temp-to-hire with intent to convert to permanent) to handle ADP payroll, AP/AR, and full general ledger work in QuickBooks Online, support day-to-day office and accounting operations in a warehouse-adjacent environment, and provide reliable in-office presence (Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm) to ensure coverage when sales staff are out, requiring a experienced full-charge accountant (not just a clerk or bookkeeper) who is comfortable in a flexible small-business setting and can start immediately to replace their current accountant who is relocating out of state.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience handling full-charge accounting responsibilities in a small to mid-sized business environment.
• Strong working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and journal entry preparation.
• Hands-on experience completing bank reconciliations and identifying and resolving accounting variances.
• Proficiency using QuickBooks Online for day-to-day accounting operations and financial record management.
• Ability to manage payroll processing with a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working on-site in Albuquerque, New Mexico and providing reliable Monday through Friday office coverage.
• Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the flexibility to operate effectively in a casual, team-oriented workplace.
