Data Entry Clerk - Senior

We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Senior Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Mendota Heights, Minnesota. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing complex product data, ensuring accuracy and consistency across multiple systems. This position offers an opportunity to use your analytical, organizational, and technical skills to support and improve database functionality across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed and accurate content for a wide range of product lines.

• Conduct research and analyze product specifications to update and enrich data for thousands of items.

• Generate and provide comprehensive reports on product enrichment, missing content, and sales performance to various stakeholders.

• Collaborate with product teams to analyze sales data and suggest improvements for product categories.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and database query tools to integrate and analyze data from multiple systems.

• Identify and correct inconsistencies or errors in product content, ensuring all updates are accurately imported into the database.

• Support and troubleshoot issues related to a company-wide shared database system, ensuring optimal performance.

• Verify the accuracy of product display and data for promotional materials.

• Assist in decisions that impact database functionality and contribute to system-wide improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or technical training, or equivalent experience in a related field.

• Minimum of 1-3 years of hands-on experience with database management and data entry.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, database applications, and other tools for handling large and complex datasets.

• Demonstrated experience in research, content creation, and data analysis.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on customer service and collaboration.

• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.

• Familiarity with creating web-based content optimized for search engines and database systems.
