Employee Relations Manager
Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage employee relations matters by assessing concerns, recommending next steps, and guiding resolution efforts across the organization.
• Conduct thorough workplace investigations, gather and evaluate facts, document findings, and provide well-supported recommendations to leadership.
• Advise managers on performance-related issues, including coaching approaches, corrective action, and documentation best practices.
• Interpret and apply local employment law and organizational policies to support compliant and equitable employee practices.
• Partner with HR and operational leaders to address sensitive workforce issues while balancing employee experience and organizational needs.
• Maintain accurate case records, prepare summaries of findings, and ensure proper documentation for employee relations activities.
• Identify patterns in workplace concerns and recommend proactive measures to strengthen manager effectiveness and reduce risk.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in employee relations within a complex organizational environment.• Hands-on background conducting employee relations investigations and handling sensitive workplace matters.
• Strong knowledge of performance management practices, including corrective action and manager coaching.
• Working knowledge of local employment law and its practical application in employee relations decisions.
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to advise leaders and employees effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and competing priorities.
Compensation
