Accountant

Robert Half is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Full-Time Engagement Professionals practice. This is a permanent, full-time, onsite role where you will represent Robert Half as an employee, working onsite with clients on exciting accounting projects

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the general ledger

Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed

Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management

Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities

Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls

Support audit requests and prepare necessary documentation

Identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency

Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience in accounting roles with working knowledge of general ledger activities and core financial processes.
• Proficiency in preparing journal entries and performing detailed account and bank reconciliations.
• Practical experience supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Ability to analyze financial information, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues with accuracy.
• Familiarity with month-end close procedures, reporting support, and audit documentation preparation.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in an onsite work environment.
• Understanding of internal controls and commitment to maintaining accurate and compliant records.

Compensation

$34.00-$36.00 Hourly
