Validation Test Engineer (Mechanical Engineering)

Overview

Our client is seeking a Validation Test Engineer with a Mechanical Engineering background to support product testing and validation activities for vehicle systems and components. This role will be responsible for conducting physical testing, analyzing results, and helping ensure products meet quality, durability, and performance expectations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mechanical testing, validation, and verification activities for vehicle components and systems.
• Develop test procedures and execute laboratory and field evaluations.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret test data.
• Identify performance issues and support root cause investigations.
• Document findings and provide recommendations for product improvements.
• Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to support product development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with applicable engineering and safety standards.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 2-5 years of experience in experimental validation, laboratory testing, physical verification, or quality engineering.
• Experience in automotive, heavy-duty vehicle, commercial transportation, or manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Experience analyzing test data and preparing technical documentation.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide proof of employment eligibility upon hire.
