Software Quality Engineer

Overview

Our client is seeking a Software Validation/Quality Engineer to support the testing and validation of software-driven vehicle systems and embedded technologies. This individual will help ensure software functionality, performance, and reliability meet quality and engineering standards before implementation into production environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute software validation and verification test plans.
• Perform functional, integration, and system-level testing.
• Document test results and maintain validation records.
• Identify, track, and support resolution of software defects.
• Work closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and improve product quality.
• Support testing activities for vehicle control systems and related technologies.
• Assist with root cause analysis and corrective action efforts.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.
• 2-5 years of experience in software testing, validation engineering, quality engineering, or systems verification.
• Experience with embedded systems, automotive software, or manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional engineering environment.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide proof of employment eligibility upon hire.
