Responsibilities

The Director of AI Transformation will lead Octave’s enterprise-wide adoption of artificial intelligence partnering with the AI Steering Committee and functional leaders to drive responsible adoption, workforce enablement, use case prioritization, governance implementation, and measurable business value from AI across the organization.

This role will work closely with the AI Steering Committee, executive leaders, technology, legal, IT, security, HR, and functional business leaders to translate AI strategy into practical adoption.

The Director will identify high-value opportunities, support responsible experimentation, drive workforce readiness, and help scale AI use cases that improve productivity, quality, cost efficiency, and business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the company’s enterprise AI transformation agenda, with a focus on adoption, behavior change, and measurable business impact
• Partner with the AI Steering Committee to shape priorities, governance, decision-making, and reporting
• Build and manage the enterprise AI use case portfolio, including intake, assessment, prioritization, pilots, scaling, and retirement
• Work with functional leaders to identify AI opportunities, define business cases, assign ownership, and measure outcomes

• Develop and support AI enablement programs, including training, communications, change management, and leadership engagement
• Promote responsible AI use by helping implement policies, standards, guardrails, and approval processes
• Coordinate with technology, data, security, legal, risk, and compliance teams to ensure AI tools and practices are safe, scalable, and aligned to enterprise expectations
• Drive standardization of approved AI tools, platforms, and practices to reduce duplication, unmanaged risk, and unnecessary cost
• Track progress, adoption, risks, dependencies, and business value, and report regularly to the AI Steering Committee
• Help create a culture of practical experimentation, learning, accountability, and continuous improvement around AI

Education / Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise transformation, digital transformation, AI adoption, change management, or innovation programs
• Strong business orientation, with the ability to connect AI use cases to measurable value
• Experience working across functions and influencing senior stakeholders
• Familiarity with AI tools, responsible AI principles, and data governance
• Strong program leadership, communication, facilitation, and executive reporting skills
• Ability to balance innovation with risk management, governance, and operational discipline
