Overview

Velociti Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Temporary Cleaner to support our facilities operations. The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by performing routine cleaning duties throughout the facility. This position requires strong attention to detail, dependability, and the ability to follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning and janitorial duties, including:
  • Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and maintaining floors
  • Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas
  • Emptying trash and recycling containers
  • Dusting, wiping, and disinfecting surfaces
  • Restocking supplies as needed
  • Maintaining a safe and orderly work environment
• Follow all company and client safety procedures
• Properly use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply needs to leadership
• Maintain professional conduct while working in client facilities
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently while meeting quality standards

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Previous janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience preferred but not required
• Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks independently
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical cleaning tasks for extended periods
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required

Employment Requirements:

• Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check
• Must successfully complete a drug screening
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Physical Requirements:

Applicants for this role must be able to:

• Lift boxes and packages weighing up to 60 pounds
• Lift, bend, squat, and stretch to move boxes, parcels, and shipments
• Climb small to medium flights of stairs multiple times a day
• Standing for extended periods of time
