The Fire Alarm Install Supervisor is a role with full responsibility for employees, projects, and operational outcomes. This position is accountable for workforce leadership, including hiring, performance management, discipline, directing work, and approving timecards. The Supervisor ensures successful execution of fire alarm installation operations, drives productivity and quality, and supports the development of team members.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide full management oversight of installation teams, including hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and discipline.
- Direct and coordinate daily work activities of technicians, leads, and field staff.
- Oversee multiple projects to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and in compliance with applicable codes and company standards.
- Approve employee timecards, manage schedules, and allocate workforce resources effectively.
- Monitor operational performance, productivity, and quality across assigned teams and projects.
- Ensure adherence to company safety policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Support employee development through coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
- Review and maintain accurate job documentation, reports, and system records.
- Utilize service management, inspection, and workforce management systems for scheduling, reporting, and operational oversight.
- Provide field support in extenuating circumstances as needed.
- Travel to job sites as required.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Education/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 10+ years of experience in the fire and life safety industry as a fire and life safety leader or above.
- Must have at least 7+ years of experience in a supervisory role.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with full management accountability.
- Strong understanding of fire alarm systems, installation practices, and applicable codes.
- NICET Level II or above preferred.
- Proficiency with computers and common business software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Experience using service management or inspection software platforms, such as inspection reporting tools, work order systems, or mobile field service applications.
- Ability to learn and effectively use company-specific systems for scheduling, reporting, and workforce management.
- Must have a clean driving record and active driver's license (if driving is required).

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various environments as needed.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
- Exposure to varying conditions including heights, confined spaces, and active job sites as needed.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods as needed.
- Work performed in commercial, industrial, and construction environments as needed.
Pay Rate:
$35 to $45 hourly based on experience.
