Billing Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing & Accounts Receivable Clerk to support a busy accounting team. This position will be responsible for invoice processing, billing support, accounts receivable activities, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate is highly organized, tech-savvy, and comfortable working with high volumes of billing data while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong billing or AR background who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating across multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and enter invoices accurately into accounting and customer invoicing platforms.
• Manage invoice submissions through systems such as Ariba and OpenInvoice.
• Support accounts receivable activities, including invoice tracking and payment follow-up.
• Review billing information for accuracy and completeness prior to submission.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, rejected invoices, and billing exceptions.
• Maintain accurate customer and vendor records within company systems.
• Assist with account reconciliation and documentation requests.
• Communicate with internal teams and external partners regarding billing and invoice status.
• Ensure compliance with company billing procedures and documentation requirements.
• Provide administrative and accounting support as needed.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, invoicing, or a related accounting support role.
• Experience with invoice processing in a high-volume environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Ariba and/or OpenInvoice.
• Background supporting accounts receivable and billing functions.
• Experience working with ERP systems or accounting software.
