Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join their growing accounting team. Responsibilities

• Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, and supporting documentation.
• Maintain vendor records and assist with vendor communication.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
• Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
• Reconcile vendor statements and assist with month-end close activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
• Collaborate with internal departments to secure approvals and resolve questions.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

• Some experience in accounts payable or a closely related accounting support role.
• Ability to understand and apply debit and credit principles in daily transaction review.
• Understanding of expense and revenue coding.
• Microsoft Excel experience, including working with spreadsheets and PivotTables.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to manage a high volume of transactions.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work across departments.
• Positive attitude with a strong desire to learn, develop new skills, and grow within the accounting department.
